2023: My Year of Going Global πππ
My word for the year was GLOBAL and all my intentions all came true π§
Going GLOBAL is the exact intention I set on Dec 2, 2022 when thinking about what I wanted to create in 2023.
I chose it as my word for the year and hosted a workshop to help others pick theirs.
For throwback fun, this is the exact post I made declaring my intentions for the year:
Pretty good, right?
Reading it now still gives me goosebumps because I really, really wanted all these things for myself.
And they all came true π§
Spotify Wrapped was the first to let me know.
I checked the 2023 stats for Future Food with Analisa Winther and the first prompt to pop up said:
I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw this. Actually, I shrieked and yelled something like βNO WAY!β
Then I rushed to find the Instagram post with my intentions for 2023 to re-read it and bask in how absurdly aligned this past year has been.
As I look back, everything I wrote down in that Instagram post came true:
I rebranded the podcast and expanded the guests and audience to have global reach. I also hired a production team to support me and launched a YouTube channel enabling me to scale my work.
I successfully lived between three countries splitting my time between Copenhagen, NYC, and Puerto Vallarta. I did so while deepening my ties with each community never feeling like I had to choose between one place or another. I was able to participate in lots of big life moments with family and friends around the world, which made my heart deeply happy.
I traveled to different agrifood ecosystems expanding my network and enjoying lots of good food.
I visited San Sebastian, Asturias, Guadalajara, Mexico City, Lausanne, Oslo, Helsingborg, Copenhagen, Brussels, Ghent, Amsterdam, Berlin, Atlanta, Charleston, Montepulciano, Anguilla, Washington DC, New York City, Lisbon, and Montreal. I didnβt make it to Brazil or Singapore so Iβm rolling those over into 2024. If you have connections to the agrifood ecosystem there, send me an email back. I want to talk to you.
I took on clients from around the world including the US, Canada, Poland, Lithuania, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Singapore, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates, Portugal, and more.
My corporate innovation work deepened my understanding of the global food system. I worked on innovation projects around the microbiome and regenerative agriculture. This gave me an even clearer picture of how everything is connected from soil to gut and farm to fork.
While I teach my clients how to create their dreams all the time, sometimes I forgot how powerful I am as a manifestor.
I created my career to power my dream life and create a positive impact on the global food system based on the gifts I have to offer.
Looking back on 2023, I am so proud of what I have accomplished and how I have expanded my capacity to work as a global ecosystem developer in the agrifood space.
Everyday, I moved a step forward.
Everyday, I built my dreams.
I learned a lot in this past year that I am ready to apply in 2024.
Iβm ready to go bigger.
Iβm ready to get more specific about what I want and Iβm ready to share it all with you so soon.
Thank you for following my story, being a member of my community, and championing my work.
I am so glad to have you here.
Big hugs and a happy new year!
